About the Paleo Therapists

Kristy and Rachel are both mental health therapists and nutritionists who take an integrative approach to health and wellness. Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Nutritional Therapy Consultant, and Kristy is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Both live in San Diego where they see clients independently, as well as together in group settings as the Paleo Therapists.

They have created “Cravings & Connections,” a 4-week supportive group for women focused on the emotional components of eating and healing the relationship with oneself. They are also working on making this group available to practitioners, who are finding that addressing the relationship with food and mindset is the key to successful, sustainable client outcomes.

The Paleo Therapists' mission is to revolutionize the current approach to wellness by bridging the gap between the mental health world and the nutrition realm, while helping other practitioners take a more integrative and effective approach to common physical and emotional issues.
